News Updates from your Community Manager…

1. Next Board meeting – The next meeting is scheduled for March 13, 2012 at 6:00pm.



2. Assessment Payments – For residents utilizing the coupon booklet for mailing payments, please be sure to mail your check with the coupon stub to the address on the coupon. Payments received without the coupon stub can get lost or posted to the wrong account in error. If you have any questions regarding your assessment account you can contact ehorndasch@wentworthmgt.com or call 847-566-2403 x 11.



3. Pool Temperature – The indoor pool temperature is set at 82 degrees with the air temp being 84 degrees. The temperatures can and will fluctuate 2 degrees up or down, however this setting is the same 365 days of the year. The spa temperatures range from 101 to 104 degrees.



4. Pool lane reminder – During family swim times the 1st two lanes from the ramp/entry stairs will be dedicated for family/kid swim. The far two lanes will be reserved for residents.



5. Fitness Equipment – The current lease expires 3/31/12. Grand Dominion will be buying out the strength training equipment and will be leasing new cardio equipment including a NuStep machine. As soon as we have more details on the delivery of the new equipment we will communicate it with the residents. There will be a few hours that residents will not be able to use the fitness center during the delivery.



6. Admin Asst. – Sarah Golden started with our community earlier this month. Sarah will be working M-F /26 total hours per week. Please introduce yourself to her and help us welcome her to the Grand Dominion team.



7. Turf damage from plows – All damage will be repaired by Acres this spring or sooner depending on weather conditions.



8. Gearing up for spring/summer – Some upcoming spring projects consist of: Steam cleaning locker rooms and indoor pool deck, steam cleaning carpets and tile, window cleaning inside and out, exterior power washing, exterior painting of lodge, installation of signage around ponds.



9. Smoke Detectors – For residents experiencing issues with their smoke detectors they can either call Pulte Customer service 877-850-2547 or BRK (manufacturer) at 800-323-9005.



10. Voles – Are meadow mice and native to the environment within the community. The track marks that they create during the winter months should self heal/correct themselves once the turf comes out of dormancy and begins to grow in spring. For areas where voles may have created more significant damage to your yard, you might want to consider filling the tracks with some soil and Kentucky Blue grass seed as soon as weather dictates.



11. Political Signage – Per the Design Guidelines no more than one (1) is sign is permitted during an election cycle. The size of the sign may not exceed 18”x24”. Please be sure to remove signage immediately following election.



12. Broken Window and Patio Door Seals – If you are experiencing any issues with broken seals, you might still be under warranty. You can call T.J. at Touch of Glass for any glass related issues at (847) 265-1100 or email: atouchofglassltd@ameritech.net.



13. Spring Mulch – This year NH 7-10 will be receiving mulch in the front beds of their homes included in their assessment. NH 1-5 will be getting their driveways sealcoated. Brickman has a mulch form available at the lodge on the landscape table for your convenience. If you are interested in additional mulch services, please fill out a form and submit your form and payment to either your neighborhood rep or the front desk at the lodge no later than May 12th.



14. Driveway sealcoating – For residents in NH 7-10 that are interested in having their driveway sealcoating at their expense, forms will be available shortly at the lodge for you to sign up.
