HELPING HANDS
Do YOU need a helping hand? Maybe Helping Hands can help!
Helping Hands
is a group of residents who want to lend their “hands” to other
residents within the community who may need assistance of some kind. This may take the form of:
· A social phone call or get well wish
· Help around the home in time of sickness or healing
· A ride to an appointment, a store, pharmacy, physical therapy on a limited or occasional basis
· A wellness visit
· A hospitality visit
· Card recognition for illness or loss of a loved one
· Community information dissemination
· Local resource materials
· Web portal training
The
group’s purpose and function is based solely on the need for assistance
and will maintain the utmost sense of privacy and respect at all times. The
members will rely on requests by residents ONLY and all assistance will
be given on a confidential basis unless otherwise requested by a
resident.
If
you are in need of assistance by the group or have permission by
someone to make a request on their behalf, please contact the person in
Helping Hands from your neighborhood listed below.
