LAKESIDE LODGE/FITNESS CENTER ORIENTATIONS
It
is required that all new Grand Dominion residents participate in a
fitness center/lodge orientation at Lakeside Lodge before utilizing any
fitness equipment or participating in any community activities. Lodge access cards will be issued after the completion of this session. Residents
who have recently closed on their homes should contact Tracy Citrano,
the Lifestyle Director, to schedule an orientation session.
Additional
fitness room instruction for usage of the cardiovascular machines and
the circuit training equipment is available at the monthly “Fitness
Center 101” sessions which are free for residents.

strength and cardio equipment in the Lakeside Lodge Fitness Center the

metabolism, form and function of muscles. Join
Personal Trainer and Fitness Specialist, Karen Schroeder, as she guides
you through an equipment orientation session that will help you
understand the right way, and the wrong way of lifting weights and using
the fitness equipment.

Ø For all activities, outings and events that require payment, refunds will only be given prior to RSVP date. After
the registration deadline, no money will be returned unless you find a
replacement or that spot is filled from an existing waiting list. This
policy is necessary to insure that the Association is not responsible
for payments for tickets, catering services, or any other event costs.

Participate in this instructional painting class. All levels are welcome – find your inner artist! Cost is $5.00 per person plus materials. This class is taught by one of Grand Dominion’s very own residents, Susan Kronowitz! No Registration required.

GRAND DOMINION FITNESS
The Grand Dominion Fitness Class Program operates under a Fitness Class Punch Card System that works as follows:
Ø Cards will be sold at the front desk - $45.00 for 10 classes (or punches)
Ø Punch cards can be used for any class type and combination with the exception of the S.T.A.B.L.E. Balance Classes.
Ø Cards are non-transferable and can be used by only one resident.
Ø At this time, expiration dates are not applicable.
Ø Residents without a punch card can attend any class for a $5.00 drop-in fee.
Ø No Pre-Registration will be necessary for residents using a punch card or paying the $5 drop-in fee.
Ø The
Front desk will no longer take any money or handle any registration –
Registration will be done by the instructors in each class - they will
take attendance, punch the cards and take any money for the drop-in fee
of $5.
Ø Classes will be held regardless of number of participants. Classes will be held as scheduled unless advance notification has been made or emergency purposes dictate cancellation.

Del Webb Live, our private community web portal is of vital importance to the communication flow at Grand Dominion. The web portal offers a variety of helpful resources for residents to access information, keep up to date and stay connected! Please
be aware that all information and updates about community clubs,
activities and events as well as all property management information,
will be submitted via the www.ourgranddominion.net website. All
residents have access to this important information tool, wherever they
can connect to the internet and are encouraged to log on to the portal
on a regular basis. Please
remember to check for daily updates in the Community Calendar, News
Pages, Alerts Section and your Personal Email for daily updates and
additions. The portal site can be easily managed through the usage of the blue Navigation bar at the top of the site page. For the convenience of all residents, you may also use the two resident computers at the Lakeside Lodge. If you need assistance with your password or any other other portal information, please contact the Lifestyle Director.
CHARTER CLUBS & INTEREST GROUPS
The
club system at Grand Dominion nurtures and supports the pursuit of a
hobby or the recreational, social or cultural interest of a group. The Grand Dominion Charter Club Rules & Procedures Manual is available for those interested in starting a new group, subject to the procedures and parameters of the Association. Club leaders should contact the Lifestyle Director for meeting space and reservations. All groups are subject to room rental fees for special or after-hours events.

Do YOU need a helping hand? Maybe Helping Hands can help!
Helping Hands
is a group of residents who want to lend their “hands” to other
residents within the community who may need assistance of some kind. This may take the form of:
· A social phone call or get well wish
· Help around the home in time of sickness or healing
· A ride to an appointment, a store, pharmacy, physical therapy on a limited or occasional basis
· A wellness visit
· A hospitality visit
· Card recognition for illness or loss of a loved one
· Community information dissemination
· Local resource materials
· Web portal training
The
group’s purpose and function is based solely on the need for assistance
and will maintain the utmost sense of privacy and respect at all times. The
members will rely on requests by residents ONLY and all assistance will
be given on a confidential basis unless otherwise requested by a
resident.

of Grand Dominion’s 10 neighborhoods has up to 3 resident
representatives who act on a volunteer basis to represent their
neighborhood with the Board of Directors. They
conduct periodic neighborhood meetings to communicate information to
the residents and meet monthly with the Board of Directors to discuss

LAKESIDE LODGE ACCESS CARDS
Residents are required to use their access cards for entry into the Lakeside Lodge during hours of operation. Please have your access card with you at all times when visiting the lodge. Access card lanyards are now available for purchase. Access cards are issued to all residents after completion of a New Resident Orientation session. A maximum of two access cards are issued for each household. Additional
residents, 19 years or older, who reside in the home for more than 6
months in a calendar year, may purchase an additional card for a fee of
$500.00 per year. Lost card fee replacement is $20.00.
Access cards are non-transferrable and to be used only by the resident to which it was issued.
GUEST POLICY
Guests
may be sponsored by a resident for usage of the facilities in the
Lakeside Lodge for a fee of $2.00 per guest, per visit, with a limit of 4
guests per household. For your convenience, Punch Cards may be purchased for guest visits – 10 visits for $20.00 or 20 visits for $40.00. Guests aged 19 and over may use the fitness center and pools during all hours of operation while accompanied by the resident. Guests under 19 years of age may only use the pool areas during the hours of Family/Children Swim.
Guests must be accompanied by a resident at all times at the Lakeside Lodge facilities.
FAMILY SWIM / CHILDREN POOL HOURS

Monday-Thursday: 3pm – 5pm
Friday: 4pm-7pm
Saturday & Sunday: 1pm – 4pm
Limit 4 guests per household - $2.00 per guest

Lakeside Lodge Multi-purpose rooms are available for private use rental
for Grand Dominion residents. Show your friends and relatives the
fantastic facilities at your next party, get-together or meeting. It’s convenient, affordable and in your own backyard! The details and rates are outlined in the Facility Use Guidelines, which can be accessed from the web portal in the “Community Documents” section.
